Many New Adventures!

Ty and I have had a whole slew of adventures lately. First, we both finished our degrees at BYU-Idaho and graduated on December 14, 2012. 

Our next great adventure was packing up our lives in Rexburg, ID and moving back to our 24-hour, sparkly hometown of Las Vegas, NV. 

This is our first Christmas tree in our new home. This picture was taken on our new, expensive camera which we bought for the NEXT great adventure we are waiting for: 

PARENTHOOD. 

(as you can tell we still have some growing up to do ourselves haha)

Ty has a new job, and a company truck to drive around, and I have a lot of free time on my swollen hands. Mostly I've been putting my feet up (out of necessity), practicing piano, learning about aperture, shutter speed and ISO, and reconnecting with friends and family around the Las Vegas valley. I am also going to try and keep our blog more updated from now on, especially since we have family that lives far away and I want to keep them updated on our growing family! 

Here's to a new year, a new (old) town, a new home, a new life and a new baby all in a few short months! 

ELKO!

So we went on a road trip for memorial day. It was quite nice. We drove for 6.5 hours and hung out with my mom and Scott in Lamoille, NV which is like a little town OUTSIDE of a little town outside of Elko. They don't even have a grocery store. Yeah.

It was really fun! We saw lots of wildlife and went on a buggie ride up a canyon.

Those buggies were rad. 

When we got back we saw a baby OWL! 

Don't be deceived- it looks full grown, but its not.

Tyler looked so hardcore in Scott's leather jacket...

I guess it was created by "Pioneer Builders" in the "*MaGiC VaLLey*"

Idaho Falls...

Tyler and I both have a hard time in Rexburg. We go to school, he goes to work and I sit in a practice room all day and then we come home and crash. Sometimes we like to escape to the actual 'Idaho Falls' in Idaho Falls, ID (about 20 mins from Rexburg down the I-20). One night we decided to go to Famous Dave's for dinner and afterwards we went and walked around the falls. 

We made a friend...  :)

We recently decided that it was time to pick up a hobby- something out-doorsy. Today we settled on cruiser bikes! I can ride them back and forth from the music building to the free parking lot that is ALL the way across campus and uphill (not fun to walk unless you like charlie horses), and then in the evenings and on weekends we can go for bike rides around town and in IF!

Haha they match- I know we're cheeseballs, but we sure had fun riding the loop around the falls today!
